INVIDI Pulse is a video ad serving software for broadcasters and online video distributors. Its users are mainly ad operations executives, marketing analysts, and their sales teams.
The challenge
Create user personas to understand the people who read and use the public documentation available for Pulse.
How I helped
Collected data
Met and interviewed subject matter experts, product managers, sales team, and others.
Was unable to interview clients directly with the tight deadline, so I conducted a quick analysis by reviewing similar job profiles on LinkedIn.
Drew up persona descriptions
Reviewed the first iteration with client-facing teams to get their assessment.
Advocated to the company
Presented the final personas at one of the monthly demos.
Gathered support from the organization and involvement of the design team.
Ensured that the personas are documented in the company Wiki, and always visible and front-of-mind to the team.
